Early Learning Center

You must be: 

• 18 or older 
• Able to work three or four hour shifts at least 12 times a year
• Able to commute to our Dorchester campus

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Assist in the classroom as directed by teaching staff, including playing, rocking and feeding babies.  
• Understanding of the important but limited role of volunteer. Willingness to follow the lead of certified teachers.

Requirements

• Initial visit to ELC to meet staff and observe in classrooms.
• EEC background check – form provided by ELC at time of visit.
• Fingerprints ($35 fee) after EEC background check clears.
• Participation in ELC volunteer trainings (first session to be scheduled in early February).
